Eurovision was hosted by Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine in 2023.

I spent 14 days at the Arena and the surrounding area photographing for the BBC both for internal purposes and external outlets. My brief was a photographers dream to provide imagery that showed how the BBC produced a major international live TV event through 3 broadcasts as the host nation. The preparation was extensive as you can imagine, I arrived with the trucks and machinery unload right through to the final show so I had to be reactive to many situations and a lot of running between venues; press conferences to ships and taking portraits of the presenters.
